The old person’s grant or pensioners grant beneficiaries will receive their payment on 1st December 2023. Other grants related to old persons will also be paid together.
The SASSA will pay the disability grant on Monday, 4th December. The Grant in aid for disability grant will also be paid together
If you receive the Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, and War Veterans Grant, the payment will be made on Tuesday, 5th December.
The SRD grant is paid after other grants. The recipients will receive SRD grant payments between December 18 to December 22, 2023.

These are the tentative dates as per the payment schedule. It can change as per the circumstances.

The SASSA will pay the disability grant on 4th January 2024. The Grant in aid for disability grant will also be paid together.
If you receive the Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, and War Veterans Grant, the payment will be made on January 5, 2024.
The SRD grant is paid after other grants. The recipients will receive SRD grant payments between January 25 to January 31, 2023.

SASSA Grant Payment Dates for February 2024

The payment for an old person’s grant or pensioner grant will be made on February 2, 2024. Other grants related to old persons will also be paid together.
Disability Grant recipients will receive their payment on February 5, 2024. The Grant in aid for disability grant will also be paid together.
Beneficiaries of the Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, and War Veterans Grant, will receive the payment on February 6, 2024.
The SRD grant is paid after other grants. The beneficiaries will receive SRD grant payments between February 23 to February 29, 2024.

SASSA Payment Dates for March 2024

The payment for the old persons grant or pensioners grant will be made on March 5, 2024. Other grants related to old persons will also be paid together.
Disability Grant recipients will receive their payment on March 6, 2024. The Grant in aid for disability grant will also be paid together.
Beneficiaries of the Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, and War Veterans Grant, will receive the payment on March 7, 2024.
The SRD grant is paid after other grants. The beneficiaries will receive SRD grant payments between March 25 to March 29, 2024.

How to check the status of SASSA payment dates

1) Check SRD payment dates via Mobile Phone –

To check the payment date on a mobile phone, you have to dial a code. Just dial 134569*47268# through your registered mobile number and it will display the payment dates on your phone screen. You can also change your mobile number if you want.

2) Check status through the official website –

If you have internet access then you can easily check the SASSA payment dates on the official website. Follow the given steps to check them –

Visit the SASSA official website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
Now enter your 13-digit SA ID number and your registered mobile number. After that click on the submit button.
You will see the payment dates displayed on the screen.

3) Visit the nearest SASSA office –

If you are not able to check the payment dates using the above two ways, then you can visit the nearest SASSA office to learn about the payout date. This may take time, as you have to stand in the long queue.

Where to receive your SASSA grant payment?

So basically, there are two methods for receiving grant payments. One way is to receive the grant money in a bank account and the other way is to collect the cash payment.

1) Bank Account –

If you have selected the bank account as your payment method at the time of registration, then your grant payment will be sent to your bank account directly. When the payment is processed from SASSA, it takes 2-3 days to appear in the bank account.

If there is any holiday in between, then the processing time may vary depending on the bank. Some banks may also charge a small fee for handling your grant money. If that’s the case then check how much your bank charges for it.

2) Cash Payment Method –

If you don’t want to receive money in a bank account then you can use the cash method. In this method, you have to collect the cash from the mentioned SASSA points.
